Before you pay
- What is the difference between Prospector and Pro?
- Prospector is for finding and tracking opportunities for one organisation, with 10 monthly AI credits. Pro includes 200 monthly AI credits for more drafting and revision. Both include the full grant database, saved opportunities and deadline tools.
- How does the Pro sale work?
- When the sale is available, new monthly Pro subscriptions are $24.50/month for the first 3 months, then $49/month unless cancelled. It is applied automatically in checkout, is not available on annual billing and cannot be combined with another discount. Existing subscriptions are unchanged.
- What is a credit?
- What AI actions draw on. A "why this fits" costs 1, a tailored checklist 2, a brainstorm fit-note pass 2, and a turn in the Application Writer 5. Free credits do not renew; paid-plan credits reset to the plan allowance every month and don't roll over.
- Does the yearly plan give me a year of credits up front?
- No — and it's worth saying plainly. You're billed once for the year, but credits stay monthly: you get your plan's allowance, refreshed on the same date each month. The yearly saving is on the price, not the allowance.
- Can I cancel?
- Any time, from your plan page. You keep everything until the end of the period you've paid for, then the account moves to Free. On a yearly plan that period is the year — cancelling stops the next renewal rather than refunding the remaining months, which is the trade for the lower price.
- What happens to my work if I downgrade?
- Changing plans changes your feature access and credit allowance; it does not delete drafts. Client workspace access depends on your plan. Check the Writer’s save status and export any work you need before changing plans.
- Where are my drafts saved?
- Signed-in Writer drafts sync to your account or your firm’s client workspace when saving succeeds. A browser copy is kept when this browser allows storage. Without an account, drafts stay in this browser; if storage is unavailable, unsaved changes remain only in the current tab. Check the Writer’s save status before leaving or switching devices, and export a copy if saving fails.
- Does paying improve my chances of getting a grant?
- No, and nobody can honestly promise that. Grantiv ranks how well programs fit your organisation and helps you write the application. Whether you're eligible is the funder's decision, made against their own criteria, and lodgement always happens through the grant's own official portal.
